Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

Duties include:

1.      Repair or replace any hardware including parts related to desktop, laptop, and mobile devices including any applicable peripherals (i.e. validators, mag-strip readers, etc.)

2.      Repair or replace any hardware including parts related to HP Laser Printers and Multi-Function Device's

3.      Install / Troubleshoot / Repair / Configure software on Client owned computing equipment.

4.      Partner with the appropriate Level 3 support team in the maintenance and repair of servers.

5.      Prepare equipment for redeployment or disposal.

6.      Assist Client to remediate information technology security vulnerabilities

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·         3+ years experience in an IT environment

·         A+ Certification

·         Proficient use of Microsoft applications, wireless connectivity, proprietary applications, basic palm applications, networking

·         Extensive experience with both software and hardware support

·         Excellent customer service skills

 Additional Information:

  • HP Certification a plus
  • Shift for this position can vary between first and second 
  • Some travel may be required
