Description

AREA15 is the world’s first purpose-built immersive entertainment district, located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Blending art, technology, nightlife, dining, attractions, and retail, AREA15 is a next-generation entertainment campus designed to deliver unforgettable social experiences for both locals and global visitors. Our experiences range from immersive attractions and live events to restaurants, bars, nightlife, and cultural programming. As we expand with new districts and venues, we are building a hospitality platform that is as innovative and memorable as the experiences surrounding it.

 

The Vice President of Food & Beverage & Venues operates at the intersection of hospitality, nightlife, live events, and immersive entertainment. This executive will oversee multiple hospitality and venue businesses within one of the most innovative experiential destinations in the world. Each venue will be operated as a standalone business with full P&L accountability, while contributing strategically to the broader AREA15 platform. This role will help define how guests experience hospitality across the entire campus.

 

AREA15 is seeking a Vice President of Food & Beverage & Venues to lead the strategy, development and operational performance of our growing portfolio of restaurants, bars, lounges, nightlife concepts and event-driven venue spaces. This executive will oversee the full lifecycle of our venue businesses from concept development and financial ownership to operational excellence, guest experience and leadership development. The VP will manage multiple venue concepts and lead a team of General Managers responsible for daily operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, operational discipline and brand-defining hospitality experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop and execute the overall Food & Beverage and Venue strategy for AREA15
  • Operate each venue and hospitality concept as an independent business with clear financial and operational accountability
  • Lead concept development and evolution of restaurants, bars, and venue experiences to ensure alignment with the AREA15 brand and guest expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, profitability, and guest engagement across all F&B concepts.
  • Analyze industry trends, Las Vegas market dynamics and guest data to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term planning, expansion opportunities and new venue concepts.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all restaurants, bars, lounges, nightlife venues, and hospitality concepts
  • Lead and develop General Managers and venue leadership teams, ensuring consistent operational standards.
  • Establish operational systems, KPIs, staffing models, and performance metrics across all venues
  • Optimize scheduling, inventory management, cost controls, and service standards
  • Ensure exceptional guest experience, service quality, and brand consistency
  • Coordinate operations across nightlife, events, attractions, and hospitality teams to maximize performance
  • Own the P&L performance of all AREA15 F&B and venue operations
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial targets for each venue and concept
  • Monitor labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, and operating margins
  • Drive revenue growth through pricing strategy, programming, partnerships, and operational improvements
  • Identify opportunities for margin improvement, efficiency gains, and long-term scalability
  • Partner with marketing, events, and programming teams to create compelling venue experiences that drive traffic and engagement
  • Integrate food, beverage, nightlife, and entertainment programming into distinctive guest experiences
  • Support major events, festivals, seasonal activations, and private events within venue spaces
  • Ensure venue programming aligns with broader campus strategy and brand positioning
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing hospitality leadership team
  • Recruit and develop General Managers and senior venue leaders
  • Establish a culture of service excellence, accountability, innovation and operational discipline
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across marketing, events, attractions, finance, and operations
  • Manage relationships with key vendors, beverage partners, distributors, and hospitality suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and partnerships that enhance offerings and profitability
  • Evaluate brand collaborations and sponsored experience opportunities
  • Ensure all venues meet regulatory, licensing, and health requirements
  • Oversee alcohol compliance, food safety, and operational risk management
  • Maintain best-in-class hospitality and operational standards
  • Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience in hospitality, food & beverage, nightlife, or multi-venue operations
  • Proven track record managing multi-unit restaurant or venue portfolios
  • Strong financial acumen with experience owning large-scale P&Ls
  • Experience leading large operational teams and multiple General Managers
  • Background in high-volume hospitality environments such as resorts, entertainment districts, nightlife venues, or experiential hospitality brands
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful hospitality concepts and guest experiences
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Las Vegas hospitality or entertainment-driven venue experience
  • Experience integrating programming, entertainment, and nightlife with F&B operations
  • Background launching new hospitality concepts or venue brands
  • Experience working within large-scale entertainment campuses or destination venues
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.
