Duties include contacting referrals, screening, assessment, service coordination, developing service plans and working directly with developmentally delayed and disabled infant/children and their families. Duties cover Russell, Tazewell and Buchanan Counties. Excellent fringe benefits package.     Position Requirements Candidates for this position must meet Part C Qualified Provider requirements and be willing to obtain Certification as an Early Intervention Professional and Early Intervention Case Manager through the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. Candidates with one of the following are eligible to apply: Licensure with an endorsement in Special Education - Early Childhood (birth-5) by the Virginia Board of Education Licensure with an endorsement in Early/Primary Education (PreK-3) or NK-4 or elementary education (PreK-6) by the Virginia Board of Education Licensure with endorsement in Career and Technical Education-Family and Consumer Sciences by the Virginia Board of Education Technical Professional License in Career and Technical Education-Family and Consumer Sciences by the Virginia Board of Education Licensure with endorsement in Special Education-Hearing Impairments (PreK-12) by the Virginia Board of Education Licensure with endorsement in Special Education-Visual Impairments (PreK-12) by the Virginia Board of Education Family and Consumer Science Professional with certification in human development and family studies through the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Certified Music Therapist Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Registered Nurse Other disciplines which meet the requirements for this positions can be found in Chapter 12 of the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia Practice Manual, Table C QMHP preferred  All candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
