Share Email Opening Apply Now Title 581 Student Intern  Location Leech Lake Gaming   Description     POSITION SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a motivated and professional Student Intern to join our team for an internship. This position provides a valuable opportunity for students interested in Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or Accounting to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments. The intern will assist with daily operations, contribute to department-specific projects, and develop workplace skills in a professional environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, file organization, and document preparation Support ongoing projects and day-to-day activities in assigned departments Participate in meetings and training sessions to gain insight into professional operations Help maintain accurate records and follow department procedures Contribute to communication efforts such as internal memos, reports, or promotional materials Provide support for events, scheduling, or other cross-departmental initiatives as needed Responsible for knowing all events in the property as a whole. Facilitate and/or attend all mandatory meetings and training. Must have ability to maintain confidentiality. Sensitivity to Native American Culture. Operate within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secure the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Other duties as assigned.     Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
