Primary Job Duties: – Includes, but is not limited to:
Previous experience as a restaurant manager at a high-volume property preferred.
Must be able to address stressful situations with guests with dignity and the utmost tack and politeness.
Knowledge of wine, liquors, beer and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Maintain high quality standards in regards to food and beverage presentation and sanitation
Manages work schedules of staff and provides direction and discipline.
Supervises service through floor presence and observation.
Comfortable in communicating effectively with many employees via pre-shift, meetings etc.
Engaging in customer service via floor presence.
Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Handle compliance requirements (TAM, Health, non-gaming, PCI).
Maintains and updates all Health Code related materials and inspects areas for Health Code Compliance.
Handle payroll and submit paper work accurately and accordingly.
Manage labor cost aggressively through smart scheduling.
Establish and maintain par levels for products, supplies and equipment. Complete requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for the anticipated business.
Assign work and side duties to staff in accordance with departmental procedures. Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shift. Identify situations, which compromise the department's standards and delegate these tasks.
Respond to guest needs by providing unmatched service.
Other duties as directed by management.
Required:
At least three years of directly related operational management experience at a similar leadership level.
Working knowledge of general restaurant operations.
Ability to work independently and with all levels of leadership in a high volume, casual concept environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with notable attention to details.
Strong decision-making abilities.
Manager ServSafe Certificate, Food Handlers and Alcoholic Beverage Servers Certifications, including all state and local requirements.
Proficient in restaurant financial management.
Place orders and manage inventories accordingly.
Conduct monthly inventories.
Be willing to occasionally use personal device / cellular phone for job related tasks, such as view company documents.
Work daytime and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Working knowledge of restaurant management software system(s).
Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer services skills.
Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
At least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirement's:
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc. This salary is accompanied by a performance-based bonus structure based on meeting or surpassing certain budget criteria (i.e. sales, controllable expenses, and profit margins).
