Requirements
Five years or more of proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction working for a General Contractor.
At least 10 years’ experience in the Commercial Construction industry.
Extensive Estimating experience in Retail and Commercial Construction.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Industry knowledge of trends and designs.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and commercial construction estimating principles.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, with a heavy emphasis in Excel.
Intermediate skill level with technology and computer systems.
Strong familiarity with Estimating software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
Ability to learn client online portals and navigate with ease.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and time management ability.
Ability to multitask.
High proficiency in the ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
This is a Corporate Office position based out of our Braselton, GA office which may require nationwide travel up to 10-20% throughout the entire US.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
High School Diploma required. Associate-degree or equivalence in experience preferred.
