To plan, instruct, and organize instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their spiritual, educational, and social development. Our teachers understand the mission of Wake Christian Academy and strive to live the mission out to their students daily.  Additional Items Requested Please include a Cover Letter with your application advising the areas you prefer to teach Include transcripts and any Certifications you hold Salary Base Salary Base begins - $45,000.00  Years of classroom experience will add to the base  Masters and Ph.D. will be added to the base   Position Requirements EDUCATION, LICENSING, AND TRAININGS: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in area being taught Classroom experience in teaching biology or chemistry is desired Degree in education or other with education courses, and knowledge of subject matter ACSI Certified within 2 years of hiring CPR/First Aid certified MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Exhibit a consistent Christian testimony (Galatians 5:22-23) Demonstrates a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ (John 3, Ephesians 2:8-9) Participates in a local Bible-believing church Ability to apply Biblical solutions to problems Personal integrity and self-motivation in the fulfillment of WCA mission Possess strong classroom management and organization skills Speak, read, and write English fluently Must be able to read and write cursive Desire for continued career improvement A calling to Christian education and a love for students Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team Ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, information retrieval, and telecommunication.
