Configuration Management Analyst 

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to join the F-35 Emulated Non-OFP Interoperability Xperience (FENIX) team. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining configuration data, ensuring compliance with program processes and standards, and supporting change control throughout the continuous product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with configuration management tools, and a commitment to accuracy and process improvement. The CM Analyst works with Program stakeholders to maintain product baselines, including full hardware, software, and various domestic and international configurations. The selected candidate will support FENIX USG representatives for compliant and timely status of multiple sites around the world to ensure the latest configurations are understood. The CM Analyst will work with several areas of the program to collect and source data, analyze configuration risk and report on compliance with associated user agreements.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures
  • Manage configuration baselines and ensure accurate documentation of system components
  • Support change control processes, including review and approval of configuration changes
  • Supports tracking of deployed systems configurations, materials procured and allocation of material by serial number to shipping locations
  • Prepare and deliver configuration status reports and physical configuration audits (PCAs)
  • Identify and resolve configuration discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborates with all areas of FENIX program to collect and record configuration data to align with product baseline documentation and control changes to baseline as it evolves
  • Utilizes CM tools to control electronic copies of documentation under CM control
  • Maintain daily records to track drawing documentation status and history
  • Interact with product teams to support system(s) implementation to documentation maintained under CM control.
  • Work with program stakeholders to prepare documentation (and related data) for delivery to customers as necessary.
  • Perform in-house tool calibration verification tests and document results appropriately.
  • Supports the maintenance and organization material including check-in/check-out process.
  • Supports incoming receiving and verification of stage testing prior to accepting into inventory
  • Supports outgoing deliveries and verification of configuration management prior to shipment
 
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic technical aptitude and ability to understand systems architecture to aid following and refining CM process for continuous process improvement.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Configuration Management role required.
  • Previous experience as CMPro is a plus. 
 
Salary Range 60K-80K and will be commensurate with experience  
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Level of Clearance Required Secret Eligible  
Amount of Travel 5-10%
