Description

Full-time, temp to hire in Philadelphia. The Clinical Transition and Stabilization Services (CTSS) Therapist supports emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth in transitioning into and maintaining stability within therapeutic foster homes. The role provides individual and family therapy in home, office, and school settings using evidence-based practices, while collaborating with foster and biological families, DHS, and treatment team members to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities include crisis support, clinical assessment, treatment and behavioral planning, discharge planning, resource coordination, documentation, outcome tracking, reauthorization support, and participation in required trainings. The therapist maintains professional boundaries and confidentiality in accordance with organizational and HIPAA standards.

 
Position Requirements

PA LSW or LCSW (preferred) with at least one year of post-master’s experience serving children in the mental health and child welfare system. Experience with family systems and behavioral interventions is required, with play therapy experience preferred. Strong teamwork, systems navigation, and written and verbal communication skills are essential. A clinical writing sample is required.
