Under the direction of the Administrator and Regional Director of Clinical Operations, the DON partners with clinical leadership to ensure the highest standards of quality care, compliance, and resident safety are maintained at all times.   Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, develop, and direct nursing services and clinical operations Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and survey readiness Lead staffing, clinical performance, and quality improvement efforts Support nursing leadership and promote a culture of accountability and excellence   Key Qualifications Nursing degree from an accredited college or university Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience At least 6 months’ experience in rehabilitative or restorative nursing Current, unencumbered Texas RN license Ability to make independent decisions and lead in dynamic clinical environments Strong communication skills with staff, residents, families, and regulatory agencies   Why HMR Veteran’s Services: At HMR, leadership matters.
