Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate - Tuscaloosa AL
We are looking for a proven contributor to join our branch operations as a Delivery Driver /Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate is an energetic team player whose primary role will be delivering orders and interacting with customers. and can transition to the picking and packing of product orders. You will also be required to deliver products to customers, being the face of Park Supply. Responsible for providing excellent customer service customers by providing the right material, quantity, and promptly.

Essential Functions:
- Drivers are required to load the assigned truck for delivery, drive to customer location, unload truck and deliver products; the average weight of products being between 50-100 lbs.
- Recording information on delivery manifest
- Adhere to and bring resolution to service suggestions
- Daily cleaning of assigned truck
- Represent Park Supply in a professional demeanor
- Make sure will-calls are staged within one hour.
- Ensure all products are stocked in designated locations
- Ensure order picking accuracy measures 100% by double checking all orders.
- Perform all assigned duties safely and efficiently adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and verified safe driving record
- Work in a warehouse setting; some outdoor exposure during the workday; temperature is not controlled
- Required to stand and walk for long periods.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 70 pounds
- Must be able to push/pull pallet jack or cart weighing up to 350 lbs.
- Able to perform repetitive motions of bending, squatting, stooping, and standing; including the motion of placing and removing the product from shelves, stabilizing on the mode of delivery, or carrying by hand.
- Ability to perform light driving/delivery duties via company truck; perform repeated motions of bending, squatting, stooping, and standing; including motion of getting in and out of the truck from the driver seat, removing the product from the truck, stabilizing on the mode of delivery via two-wheel dolly or carrying by hand.
- The ability to safely operate a Forklift is a plus
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; three (3) years of delivery driver or warehouse-related/ experience.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience and customer service
This position requires a DOT physical as part of their job assessment to perform the required duties/NO CDL requirement
