We are seeking Accounting Interns/ temporary help at our corporate headquarters in midtown Cleveland, Ohio.

In this role, you will receive hands on experience of a US public company. Your attention to detail, strong interpersonal communication skills, and experience in helping identify ways to improve processes are important to us.

 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Process invoices and related transactions for resale purchases for multiple locations
  • Verify price and receipt of materials. Work with field locations to resolve exceptions
  • Resolve billing, payment, debit/credit issues
  • Promote and maintain vendor relationships relating to statement reconciliation and payment cycle
  • Process and pay invoices for non-inventory related purchases
  • Process travel and entertainment reports
  • Perform Sarbanes Oxley  walkthroughs & testing assistance for the treasury cycle
  • Assist with establishing new Travel and Expense procedures
  • Cash Application
  • Consolidate Trade Credit job descriptions
  • SAP Readiness – Accounts Receivable open reconciling items
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 

Position Requirements

 

  • Must have working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
