Description

Peabody Properties, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Property Manager to oversee apartment and condo communities in Brookline, MA.

The ideal candidate will effectively manage all property operations and provide strategic direction to site office and maintenance staff while ensuring strict compliance with LIHTC program requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations: Ensure optimal occupancy and maintain a high-quality living environment for all residents and condo owners.
  • Financial Management: Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses to ensure strict adherence to budget constraints.
  • Compliance and Governance: Oversee the processing of all resident certifications and recertifications in accordance with LIHTC regulations. Additionally ensure full compliance with condo documents including rules and regulations
  • Condo Management: Act as a primary liaison for condo owners and actively participate in weekly board/association meetings.
  • Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of skilled personnel to ensure peak performance.

 

Requirements of the Position:

  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, federally assisted programs, and all state/local housing regulations.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on resident relations.
  • Efficiency: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with OneSite is a significant plus.
  • Initiative: A self-motivated professional who takes ownership of site operations.

 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related property management and supervisory experience.
  • LIHTC recertification experience is required.
  • Prior condo management experience is preferred.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Peabody Properties offers $75,000-$80,000 dependent on experience along with a rich benefits package that includes, but is not limited to, medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, employee referral bonuses, and flex spending.
