Trump Vineyard Estate is looking for a professional, energetic, enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work, gets satisfaction from accomplishing tasks, and understands the importance beautiful landscaping. From lawn care to weeding to snow removal after winter storms, this person will work with the grounds team to ensure the property is well maintained and that every guest that visits the property is amazed by our stunning views.
Position Title: Groundskeeper
Location: Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA - 15 minutes south of Charlottesville city limits, 20 minutes north of Scottsville
Hours: Full-Time on site, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, Typically Monday-Friday 7:00 am -3:30 pm, weekend availability required.
Wages: $18.00- $20.00 per hour, depending on experience plus benefits

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Complete landscaping tasks included but not limited to: weeding, watering, planting, sweeping, raking, snow removal, edging, shrub bed renewal/installation/repair, mulching, seeding, exterior/interior plant care, mowing, trimming, pruning, transplanting, & composting
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, chainsaws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
- Gather and remove litter
- Have attention to detail and accuracy, and cultivate a high-end guest experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of lawn care and/or landscaping
- Valid driver’s license and background check
- Must be able to work on feet for eight hours a day
- Able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to operate small power equipment and tools safely
