Join us and be part of a team that thrives on imagination and passion.   The Model Bartender is responsible for ensuring excellent visitor service standards while staying in compliance of all SNHD requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast paced, high-energy, upscale environment. They should also be able to demonstrate customer service skills, communication skills, and dexterities. The Model Bartender should have a strong knowledge of all aspects of bartending from fundamentals to crafting drinks. The Model Bartender is responsible for upholding the highest of AREA15’s standards. This job description is a summary of duties however it is by no means an all-inclusive list. It is merely a broad guide to expected duties of the position.   RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Consistently delivers exceptional service to every visitor while interacting in a professional manner, maintaining dialogue with all visitors while upholding a warm, positive, and friendly persona always. Set up a bar for full operation, ensure all supplies, product, and tools are fully ready for operations. Must be comfortable with food service and etiquette. Flexibility to perform other job-related tasks or other duties deemed necessary by management. Crafting and serving beverages to visitors. Consistently maintain a well- groomed appearance, posture, and hygiene in accordance with company policy. Handle cash and credit transactions at the point of sales system. Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County health standards. Provide an accurate inventory count of product prior and at the end of every shift. Always communicate effectively with all levels of employees and visitors. Ability to work as a team, stay organized, handle various projects at one time, follow up and make accurate decisions. Be a brand advocate by providing Guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus, and pricing. Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention. Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude. Must present and maintain an attractive image to further the overall theme of the venue. Pose for pictures, in uniform or designated (logo) apparel, for promotional activities. Participate and dress up in costumes for events, movie showings, and/or themed parties. Participate and appear in marketing, publicity, or media materials. Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction. Adhere to department and company policies and procedures. Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards. Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Requires a minimum of 1-3 years’ bartending experience in hospitality industry within a high-volume beverage venue Requires extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and crafted cocktails. Valid work cards. (Health, Alcohol Awareness Card, and Non-Gaming) Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat environment on a consistent basis. Must be self-motivated and willing to learn. Ability to maintain composure and stay focused. Ability to maintain personal integrity. Requires the ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language. Must be able to push and lift to 25lbs. Ability to work from a standing position for the entire duration of a scheduled shift. Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions repeatedly Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
