All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Description Job Summary: The role of the Registered Nurse/PGT Coordinator is to provide hands-on care to patients by triaging patients, managing diagnostic testing, coordinating treatment cycles, administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with the rest of the healthcare team including doctors, nurses, medical assistants, laboratory technologists, and administrative staff. In addition, the Registered Nurse/PGT Coordinator is expected to coordinate all PGT cases for the practice. Coordinating the logistics, scheduling, and patient communication for IVF cycles involving genetic testing of embryos, ensuring smooth coordination between patients, embryology, clinicians, and handling administrative tasks pertaining to the patients cycle. Essential Job Functions: Rotate weekends and holidays as necessary Work within a multidisciplinary team to identify patients' care requirements, focus on their needs and act on them Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (venipuncture, monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, manage intravenous lines, provide drugs and injections etc.) Monitor and record patient's condition and document provided care services Treat medical emergencies Triage patients to appropriate services within facility and appropriate outside facilities when necessary Coordinate patient diagnostic testing and treatment cycles Become familiar with and follow care regulations and standard operating procedures Be able to communicate complex medical concepts to people of all backgrounds and comply with HIPAA Participate in morning monitoring sessions, evening consult sessions and daily IVF procedures Provide coverage when necessary, including weekends and holidays Create new patient learning material and hold educational sessions both in person and by webinar Maintain licensure and certification as required by law Travel to other sites when necessary Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement for patient flow Provide excellent customer service Assessing patient charts for readiness for IVF & FET Cycles Completing Prenatal Checklists, reviewing lab results, requesting physicians to review abnormal results Completing IVF Checklists & FET Checklists Counseling and educating patients on items required to move forward with treatment, helping them to understand how to complete these missing items, and arranging the means for missing items to be completed Communicating outstanding items with other members of the cycle coordination team including medication coordinator, financial coordinator Documenting all conversations and needed items in eIVF Organize, track, and carry out needed elements of the PGT process with patients including gathering consents, charting, ordering test requisitions, and communicating steps Act as a first point of contact for patients requesting more information on PGT Monitoring patients for PGT-A, PGT-M, and PGT-SR. Reviewing genetic carrier screening results for patients and partners Reviewing genetic counseling session results and recommendation for patients and partners Counseling and educating patients on the PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR processes, including clinical processes, clinical significance, financial commitments Submitting patient case information and supporting documentation to appropriate genetics lab (Cooper, RGI, Natera) for PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR cases Ensuring patients are on track with trajectory of care once they move into involvement with Cooper, RGI, Natera and monitoring patient progress, documenting patient progress Communicating status of cases with physicians and cycle coordination team Assisting finance with authorization information/clinical documentation related to PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR Communicating test results and meaning with all PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR patients Reviewing next steps in care plans with patients Maintain spreadsheet/documentation for all patient cases Assist in reporting results from data collection and analyze for trends Communicating ERA results with patients undergoing ERA procedures as they result in the Cooper database Become familiar with and follow care regulations and standard operating procedures   Category Nursing   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Location Island Fertility - Fertility   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position Requirements Licensed RN 2 years of experience in fertility is preferred BLS and ACLS certification Educational, Presentation and Listening Skills Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records and other Software Clinical experience in Physician Practices Organization, prioritization, attention to minute details, are necessary to succeed in this role Excellent communication, decision making, leadership and problem-solving skills   Shift Days   Tags Full time rotating weekends and holidays   Salary Range $57.65 per hour   Position Registered Nurse/PGT Coordinator   Open Date 1/20/2026   This position is currently accepting applications.
