Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Regional Director of MDS to oversee assessment accuracy, clinical reimbursement, and quality performance across our long-term and post-acute care communities. This role ensures compliant, timely, and precise MDS processes while driving initiatives that strengthen 5-Star Quality Measures and overall facility performance. The Regional Director will support and coach facility teams to maintain consistent, high-quality MDS practices throughout all HMR communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, training and oversight to facility MDS Coordinators and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor facility performance in MDS accuracy, reimbursement, Quality Measures and 5-star ratings
  • Conduct audits and data analysis to identify trends, compliance risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with operations, clinical, and IT leaders to optimize data integrity, workflow efficiency, and system utilization.
  • Provide onsite and remote support to facility teams; up to 50% travel required.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred; or LPN with 10+ years MDS experience and at least 2 years multi-site experience
  • 5+ years of long-term or post-acute care experience, including leadership or corporate-level oversight.
  • Expert in multi-facility MDS coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
  • Excellent communication, training, and project management skills.
