The Housing Specialist provides comprehensive, client-centered services to individuals and families experiencing housing instability. This role is responsible for identifying and securing appropriate housing resources, navigating homeless service systems, and assisting clients with rental and utility assistance programs. The Housing Specialist also supports individuals and families residing in subsidized housing by helping them maintain housing stability, establish and work toward permanent housing goals, and track progress over time. Working collaboratively with clients, landlords, and community service partners, the Housing Specialist promotes housing security, self-sufficiency, and long-term stability.   Position Requirements BSW, with an MSW preferred, and have a minimum of two to three years of experience providing direct services in housing counseling, case management, or advocacy for individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
