Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC (DRM) – one of Northern New England’s largest law firms – is seeking an Information Resources Manager to join the team in our Burlington, Vermont office.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the firm’s CLE program, records management program, conducting legal and business research, and the supervision of the conflicts and records departments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of legal and non-legal research techniques using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Experience with conflicts, records, attorney licensing and information governance organization, tools and processes.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts and overseeing compliance for contracts and licenses.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and conduct end-user training on research resources and other information governance platforms.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work well at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of information governance or library-related experience in law firms or professional services organization.

The expected pay range is $90,000 - $97,500 a year. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
