Social Work p.r.n. is actively recruiting a social worker ready to support the safety, dignity and access to resources of older adults who have been abused, neglected or exploited.
This is a permanent, full-time, MSW position. The social worker will provide supportive counseling and case management, including conducting in-depth assessments, evaluating risk factors, determining safety needs, and conducting safety planning. The social worker will become an advocate for the client's safety and will support them in navigating various systems, including family court, law enforcement, healthcare providers, legal professionals, community partners and Adult Protective Services.
Clients served live in south Brooklyn and some home visits are required. This is a hybrid position in which 1 or 2 days/week can be worked from home. On the other work days, the social worker will work in two offices, one in south Brooklyn and one in lower Manhattan. Work hours are regular business hours Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend work required.
Salary: $60,000-$65,000
