The FP&A Analyst plays a critical role in driving financial performance, strategic insight, and operational excellence across the organization. This role partners closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional business units to deliver high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven analysis. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of translating complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Support the development of annual operating and capital budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis, comparing actual performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Create financial models to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and quantify impacts of operational decisions.
  • Prepare monthly, and quarterly financial reporting packages for senior leadership, including dashboards and KPI scorecards.
  • Analyze revenue opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, scenario planning, and other business cases to support decision-making.
  • Partner with Operations, IT, HR, Accounting, and Marketing to understand key drivers of performance and provide relevant insights.
  • Support the development of tools and reporting solutions that optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of analytical processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance dashboards and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Looker, Power BI) to improve visibility into performance metrics.
  • Translate large datasets into meaningful insights through clear, concise presentations for executive and operational teams.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives by converting manual reports into automated, dynamic reporting solutions.
  • Contribute to strategic projects across the enterprise, including evaluation of new business opportunities and operational initiatives.
  • Be available to respond to time-sensitive matters.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, analytics, or financial modeling.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and provide clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex findings to senior audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in hospitality, entertainment, or multi-location environments preferred.
  • Experience with Looker, Power BI, or financial planning systems is a plus.

  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
