Job responsibilities include providing symptom management through short term, resiliency support, community stabilization and mobile crisis services specifically focused on resolution of symptoms and implementation of behavior management. Specific services include family and school engagement, skills building activities, participating in treatment teams/community meetings and developing treatment plans with possible 2-6 hours a month on the weekends serving individuals and families.   Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required. Knowledge of local resources, effective problem-solving skills and ability to effectively intervene in crisis/difficult situations. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
