We are seeking an experienced Arcade Game Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair electronic games, attractions, and technical equipment, ensuring they operate safely and smoothly for guests. This includes testing electronic and mechanical functions, replacing parts, soldering wires, performing preventative maintenance, documenting repairs, and communicating issues to management. You will also assist with installations, support special projects, and respond to guest equipment issues as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Service and maintain all arcade games while upholding cleanliness and safety standards. Perform repairs and diagnostics of gaming hardware. Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to repairs, preventative, and scheduled maintenance. Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components. Escalate any serious issues in a timely manner. Ensure each system or device meets departmental regulations and quality standards and is ready for inspection in compliance with QA guidelines. Accurately record all production and accuracy documentation. Check supplies and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of service stations before, during, and after shifts. Follow the department's preventative maintenance and deep-cleaning schedule to ensure all games are clean and functional. Assist with the installation of new games or the decommissioning of old games. Respond to guest calls when games require troubleshooting. Communicate any arcade game, inventory, record-keeping, or compliance issues to management on an ongoing basis, including maintenance issues, guest complaints, special requests, and any unusual occurrences, to maintain optimal department performance. Address and report any potential hazards appropriately and in a timely manner. Following all safety protocols during the repair of games and equipment is an essential part of the job. Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction. Adhere to department and company policies and procedures. Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards. Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience repairing and maintaining arcade games. Strong practical skills in electronics and mechanics. Proficient with hand tools and able to use them safely and effectively. Knowledgeable about OSHA regulations and safety practices. Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment. Effective communication with management, coworkers, and guests. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to make decisions and work effectively under pressure. Eager to learn, grow, and apply coaching or training from management. Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language. Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
