Share Email Opening Title Counter Attendant/Cashier - BEIGNET CAFE  Description The Counter Attendant at Beignet Cafe serves as an ambassador for Island View Casino and the outlet. The Counter Attendant provides an exceptional guest experience by greeting guests upon arrival, taking orders, and fulfilling orders in an accurate and professional manner.  Maintains current and accurate knowledge of menu (e.g., preparation techniques and ingredients). Suggests items to guests based on their expressed preferences. Accurately enters food and beverage orders into the point of sale and delivers prepared food to the appropriate guest upon production of the order. Itemizes, totals, and presents check for payment to the correct guest. Verifies comps or coupons for amounts and expiration dates. Maintains cleanliness of designated areas, completes assigned side work as directed, and deep cleans in use equipment to maintain level of operation as required (e.g., tables, chairs, coffee machines, soda machines, etc.).   Position Requirements High School diploma or GED equivalent.  Experience in cash handling or retail required.
