Trump Winery in Charlottesville, Virginia is looking for a professional, passionate, and results-driven individual to manage our guest experiences and help lead Tasting Room operations as the Tasting Room Assistant Manager. The Tasting Room Assistant Manager will assist in the oversight of the development and management of a tasting room team and will continue to refine and deliver the ultimate guest experience.

Title: Tasting Room Assistant Manager
Location: Trump Winery Tasting Room - 20 minutes south of Downtown Charlottesville
Hours: Hours will typically fall between 10am and 6pm Wednesday – Monday, weekend and holidays required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Ability to create and maintain a fast paced, gracious and highly productive team ‘culture’ that is focused on making the guest experience the best it can possibly be, every time
- Assist in executing all tasting room operations including opening/closing procedures and inventory
- Maintain a friendly, warm and clean tasting room environment inside and outside at all times
- Assist the Tasting Room staff in their duties when needed; serve as Manager on Duty in the tasting room alongside the team; host visitors and model the behavior that is expected from tasting room staff; other duties as necessary to be an active team member, doing what is necessary to help the business run smoothly and efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D
- Minimum two years winery, restaurant, retail or related experience; BA or industry related certification/education or related experience.
- Previous managerial experience
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 pounds.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Managers’ Alcohol Responsibility Training Certificate
- Serve Safe
- Knowledge of computing skills (Microsoft Suite, POS, Google Suite)
