Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinician  Category Counselor - Masters level   Description Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinician will be responsible for providing services to individuals participating in services at CMCSB. Responsibilities include mental health outpatient counseling (group and individual), SUD outpatient therapy (group and individual), conducting comprehensive needs assessments for mental health services, conducting multidimensional assessments for SUD services and other related clinical services. Prospective candidates will demonstrate ability to provide services that are person-centered and recovery oriented and will have the ability to work with all age ranges and those diagnosed with mental health, substance use disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities.   Position Requirements Master's degree in a human services field and licensed in the State of Virginia or license-eligible in the state of Virginia. One year of clinical experience with individuals with mental illness or co-occurring disorders preferred. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
