Diversity at our agency means fostering a workplace in which individual differences are recognized, appreciated, respected and responded to in ways that fully develop and utilize each person's talent and strengths.   Position Accountant   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location Medford, NY   Salary $65,000 - $70,000   Days/Hours Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm   Description The Accountant will apply accounting principles to prepare financial reports, compile financial information, analyze financial data, and ensure financial compliance. They are also responsible for the month-end close processes. Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the monthly accounting close for all entities. Prepare financial and budget-to-actual reports for investors, funders and internal purposes. Assists with the annual financial statement audits. Record financial transactions through multiple sources including: accounts payable accounts receivable bank activity credit cards purchase orders Maintain client accounts. Special projects as needed. Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.   Salary: $65,000 - $70,000   Position Requirements A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in accounting.  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other related business field preferred.  Individual must be highly detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels in the organization is a must.
