Additional hours may be available   Opportunities Available As early as December 2025   Category Integrated Health Services   Open Date 11/4/2025   Close Date   Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with advanced foot care certification to join our interdisciplinary health team. The Foot Care Nurse will provide client-centered foot care services to community members, including those with diabetes, circulation issues, or other conditions affecting foot health. The role includes direct clinical care, health education, and working collaboratively with other providers to support holistic and preventative care. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, evidence-based basic and advanced foot care to clients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized foot care treatment plans. Educate clients on proper foot health, self-care, and prevention strategies. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in the EMR. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals to coordinate care. Participate in outreach and health promotion initiatives, as needed. Adhere to infection prevention and control standards and organizational policies.   Position Requirements Qualifications: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Certified Foot Care Nurse (FCN) or equivalent advanced foot care training. Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in community or primary care. Experience working with diverse and marginalized populations an asset. Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Commitment to health equity, trauma-informed care, and culturally safe practice. CPR certification and proof of professional liability insurance required. Linguistic Profile This position is not designated under Carlington’s French Language Services Plan. Fluency in French is preferred.
