Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Facilities Coordinator to join our Environmental Services team to manage the upkeep and repair operations in our facilities.

Position Summary: The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling regular maintenance, managing repair activities, and ensuring the optimal working condition of our premises. Under the direction of the Facilities Director, assist in coordinating all Environmental Services Department operations.

Essential responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Enters work orders into Worx Hub, a maintenance management software.
  • Assists with the ongoing updates of the maintenance management software and assists staff with entering data.
  • Tracks preventative maintenance tasks and schedules them to be performed.
  • Assists Facilities Director with the scheduling and coordinating of outside contractors and vendors performing work on the campus.
  • Assists Facilities Director with the scheduling of Safety meetings.
  • Participates, as needed. as a member of the Safety Committee.
  • Prepares schedules and ships all E-Waste (light bulbs, batteries, etc.) and maintains documentation.
  • Assists Facilities Director in scheduling appointments and returning phone calls.
  • Schedules and coordinates safety training for the Environmental Services Department and maintains required training documentation.
  • Monitors and reports all incoming calls for Maintenance requests, including calls from 2222 line and enters them in Worx Hub.

Required Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in Senior Living a plus.
  • At least 6 months proven experience in facilities coordination or a related field.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
