Autism Specialist 

Description

OCCK is looking for an Austism Specialist to join the team!  This position will offer supports and assist in the development of skills with a child/young adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services across home, school, & community settings

  • Providing oversight and individualized support to children and young adults (ages 0-21) by developing, monitoring, & updating treatment plans.

  • Maintaining regular communication with case managers, families, and staff to ensure treatment plans are followed & updated as needed.

  • Attending required trainings to build knowledge and skills in autism support & behavior intervention.

  • Documenting daily services, data collection, and progress notes in Q90 database.

  • Other direct support duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 
Position Requirements
  • Master’s degree in early childhood, education, behavior analysis, psychology, social work, music therapy, language, or a related field
  • Additionally, the individual must have a clean background, as evidenced through background checks of records maintained by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), Adult Protective Services (APS), Child Protective Services (CPS), Nurse Aide Registry, and Motor Vehicle screen.
