Location: Perrysburg, OH

Starting Compensation: $1,350-$1,400 per week

Position Summary: The Branch Operations Manager oversees daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance across all routes. This role manages and supports Independent Operators (IOs) and Route Sales Representatives (RSRs) through clear communication, regular audits, and performance reviews. Responsibilities include verifying orders and load sheets, maintaining store relationships, and ensuring safety and training compliance. The ideal candidate leads with accountability, organization, and pride in delivering consistent, high-quality service.

 

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Check your Outlook Calendar for any reminders/events for the day.
  • Follow-up on all emails pertaining to branch operations (Critical step).
  • Walk the entire branch and assess where our problem areas are. Make sure the branch and bathrooms are clean, neat, and organized.
  • Check orders in Mobile and adjust if need be. Adjustments are based on the Safe Carry Over number (SCO) and 4-week average:
  • Communicate effectively with IOs and RSRs (Critical step).
  •  Make sure AD products are being ordered for all promotions.
  • Morning load sheet verification:
  • Route Truck Stock Tracker Report adjustments in Mobile should match the loader adjustments on load sheets. If there are any discrepancies, call IO/RSR and discuss. All load sheets are then bound by a rubber band and kept in a box for 45 days.
  • Check for Amazon PO’s (where applicable).

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Market Visits:
  • Minimum 6 store audits per IO Coordinator per week.
  • Update stop plans facings, sell displays, and build relationships with store management.
  • Return audits at branch:
  • 3 weekly audits for IO/RSRs per IO Coordinator.
  • Truck stock audits and truck cleanliness:
  • 3 weekly audits for IO/RSRs per IO Coordinator. Make sure cab of truck and box are clean, swept, neat etc.
  • Marketing Advertising Program for all IOs (see IO contract).
  • Monday/Tuesday- Ensure that all RSRs are using the “Adjustment to Suggestions” button in Mobile (coach IOs as well).
  • Clear, in-person, communication with IO/RSRs. This will include but is not limited to:
  • Sales promotions.
  • POG (plan-o-gram) integrity.
  • Store signage.
  • Overall growth within all retail customers.
  • Providing ongoing training and support with an emphasis on safety.
  • Accept and attend all weekly area Teams calls if calendar invite is sent (where applicable).

Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Route performance review
  • Sales, returns, shrink, and OSA (On Shelf Availability).
  • Overall market conditions.
  • Any service complaints.
  • All current training programs:
  • Carrier’s Edge
  • KnowBe4
  • Period end checklist
  • Order office supplies (Fast Forms).
  • Order sanitation supplies (Fast Forms).
  • Check and sign all fire extinguishers.
  • Test all emergency exit sign lighting.
  • Change furnace filter (where applicable).

New IO/RSR Responsibilities:

  • Applicable training program for IO/RSRs (i.e. 21-day checklist).
  • In-depth training of Mobile IO/RSR).
  • Uniform compliance and orders (IO/RSR).
  • Samsara compliance (RSR).
  • Carrier’s Edge compliance (RSR).
