The Home and School Visitor (HSV) position involves acting as a liaison between students, families, schools, and community agencies to address barriers to a child's education and personal development. Key duties include investigating attendance issues, facilitating access to resources such as health services, financial assistance, and social support programs, and collaborating with school staff and community partners to coordinate services and support students and families, as well as some case management. This position also serves as the liaison for students who are unhoused/displaced. Additional duties may be assigned by the department's Administrator as needed to adapt to the district's changing needs.   Position Requirements MSW and PDE certification as a Home/School Visitor (Required). PDE certification as a Social Worker (Preferred). Ability to relate and communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
