The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and optimizing production processes to meet deadlines and achieve targets for efficiency, output, and cost. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the shop floor. Ensure production schedules are on time and adjust workflows as needed to meet deadlines. Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained. Train, coach, and evaluate employees to enhance performance and skill development. Collaborate with management teams in all departments to optimize efficiencies and to resolve operational issues. Maintain accurate records of production, employee performance, and equipment maintenance. Assist in planning and implementing production processes, procedures, and equipment. Communicate effectively with upper management on production status, issues, and improvement plans     Position Requirements Qualifications - Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory role - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Position Type, Working Conditions, and Expected Hours of Work - Production plant environment with exposure to machinery, noise, moving pallets of mail and equipment, and varying temperatures  - Requires standing, walking, and lifting (up to 25 lbs) First and Second shift openings First shift 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Second shift 4:00 p.m. to "close" (usually around midnight) Full-time supervisory position M-F with hours of work expected to fall within the assigned TBD shift, with availability during off-hours for emergencies The Production Supervisor of UMS Brookfield must conduct themself professionally and ethically both inside and outside the workplace.   Category Management   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Various Shifts   Hours Two Openings: First Shift, 8am-4pm & Second Shift, 4pm-12am   Rate of pay Pay range $20-$30/hour depending on shift (2nd shift premium) as well as level of experience   Other Information   This position is currently accepting applications.
