Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Family Therapist - Licensed  Category Counselor - Licensed   Description Cumberland Mountain Community Services Board is seeking a therapist who is passionate about working with children, adolescents and families who reside in the areas of  service areas. We serve Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell counties.  Responsibilities include providing outpatient therapy to include individual and family group therapy, case management, and crisis services to children and adolescents who reside in various areas.  Treatment settings include office, community, home and school-based settings.  Extensive documentation requirements in order to meet regulations.  Will complete comprehensive needs assessments and outpatient needs assessments, link individuals receiving services to community services, coordinate services and plans with collateral agencies and providers, monitor individuals receiving services' progress towards identified service plans, and advocate for needed resources and services for individuals receiving services. CMCSB provides mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse treatment services to the residents of Buchanan, Russell, and Tazewell Counties. At the present time, CMCSB operates over twenty locations, to include outpatient offices, mental health recovery programs, group homes and day support programs for intellectually disabled individuals, and a residential alcohol and drug treatment program. In addition, CMCSB has several services that are provided directly in an individual's home or in a supported environment. CMCSB also provides a 24-hour crisis team to assist community agencies and individuals in crisis situations. CMCSB employs approximately 500 employees, which include full-time and part-time employees, as well as individuals receiving services who are employed to work in various day programs.
