Position Summary We're seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide front-line technical support for end users across our manufacturing locations. This role focuses on troubleshooting day-to-day user issues, provisioning laptops, phones, and applications, and resolving Tier 1 and some Tier 2 support tickets. You'll work closely with a small IT team, gaining exposure to enterprise systems and opportunities to grow into advanced infrastructure support. What You'll Do Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues. Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral, and mobile device problems. Provision and configure laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, and VoIP phones. Monitor and maintain IT Help Desk tickets, ensuring quick follow-up and clear communication with users. Assist with software installations, updates, and patches (Windows OS, MS Office, Adobe, VMware, Citrix, etc.). Train employees on computer equipment and software as needed. Document issues, solutions, and procedures in IT systems and maintain equipment inventory. Assist IT staff with escalations, preventative maintenance, and projects (including server/network equipment setup). Support cabling, racking, and barcode scanner configuration when needed. Foster positive working relationships across departments and with vendors. What We're Looking For 1-3 years of IT support/help desk experience preferred (manufacturing environment a plus). Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and mobile devices. Working knowledge of Microsoft environments, Active Directory, and ticketing systems. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Join Falcon Plastics?
