Position Summary
We're seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide front-line technical support for end users across our manufacturing locations. This role focuses on troubleshooting day-to-day user issues, provisioning laptops, phones, and applications, and resolving Tier 1 and some Tier 2 support tickets. You'll work closely with a small IT team, gaining exposure to enterprise systems and opportunities to grow into advanced infrastructure support.

What You'll Do

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral, and mobile device problems.

  • Provision and configure laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, and VoIP phones.

  • Monitor and maintain IT Help Desk tickets, ensuring quick follow-up and clear communication with users.

  • Assist with software installations, updates, and patches (Windows OS, MS Office, Adobe, VMware, Citrix, etc.).

  • Train employees on computer equipment and software as needed.

  • Document issues, solutions, and procedures in IT systems and maintain equipment inventory.

  • Assist IT staff with escalations, preventative maintenance, and projects (including server/network equipment setup).

  • Support cabling, racking, and barcode scanner configuration when needed.

  • Foster positive working relationships across departments and with vendors.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of IT support/help desk experience preferred (manufacturing environment a plus).

  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and mobile devices.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft environments, Active Directory, and ticketing systems.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
