Position Director of Digital & Growth Marketing

We are seeking a data-driven, and creative Director of Digital & Growth Marketing to lead our digital brand presence and accelerate customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This hybrid role will combine brand-forward digital storytelling with performance-driven growth marketing, ensuring our online footprint drives both cultural relevance and measurable revenue.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with hands-on execution across digital channels, performance campaigns, and funnel optimization. You'll lead a team of digital specialists, agency partners, and cross-functional collaborators to ensure every digital touchpoint converts curiosity into loyalty. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Oversee all digital channels: website, social media, email, paid media, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.
  • Drive cohesive brand storytelling and digital experiences that reflect our unique identity and offerings.
  • Lead campaign strategy, content calendars, and digital ad buys to grow awareness and engagement.
  • Ensure consistency of voice, visuals, and customer experience across all digital platforms.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends, tools, and platforms.
  • Manage website and conversion funnels to improve traffic and conversion rates.
  • Own the marketing funnel, optimizing for acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Develop and execute data-driven growth strategies, including referral programs, A/B testing, lifecycle campaigns, and OTA/ticketing partnerships.
  • Partner with product, sales, and operations to identify growth levers and scale revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics such as CAC, LTV, conversion rates, repeat customer rate, and marketing ROI.
  • Lead and mentor a team of digital and growth marketers; manage external agency/partner relationships.
  • Partner with creative, PR, and events teams to ensure cross-channel alignment and amplification.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, testing, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Creative, Sales, Events, F&B, and Retail, to support integrated campaigns.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in digital and/or growth leadership roles
  • Proven track record of scaling customer acquisition, digital campaigns, and retention programs.
  • Strong expertise in digital channels (SEO/SEM, social, paid, email, web) and growth strategies (A/B testing, funnel optimization, retention marketing).
  • Analytical skills and mindset with comfort in data tools, dashboards, and ROI reporting.
  • Ability to balance creative brand storytelling with data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams with exceptional leadership and communication.
  • Background in entertainment, hospitality, consumer brands, or experiential marketing is a plus.
  • Experience using tools Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Sprout and Hubspot.
  • Growth in digital-driven ticket sales and customer acquisition.
  • Improved conversion rates across digital touchpoints.
  • Increased repeat customer rate and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Growth in digital engagement (followers, email subscribers, website traffic).
  • ROI on paid media and growth marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
