Share Email Opening Title Senior Accountant  Location Lisle, IL   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Compensation $90,000 - $100,000 annually.   Description The Senior Accountant is responsible for financial data integrity and for supervising accounting staff with all processes related to monthly accounting close, including the preparation of account reconciliations and monthly close journal entries, and ensuring all transactions are recorded in the general ledger based on US GAAP. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller. Essential Duties General accounting for clinics and supervise accounting staff. Oversee preparation and accuracy of monthly journal entries and reconciliations by accounting staff. Ensure bills are entered timely and coordinate payments to vendors. Answer questions and review clinic accounting work by accounting staff. Ensure adherence to established internal controls and related procedures. Coordinate all aspects of year-end work in collaboration with the Controller. Prepare sales tax returns, individual state tax exemption forms, etc. Assist with financial reporting and consolidation. Prepare ad-hoc financial analytics and analyses as requested from time to time by CFO and Controller. Help the organization manage its liquidity by monitoring bank balances, deposits and spending. Assist with business insurance. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in processing and reporting and collaborate with clinic staff, regional managers, etc. Other projects as assigned. Travel Requirements No travel required. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting. 5-7 years of accounting experience, with experience supervising staff. Experience in QuickBooks Online required. Strong demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP. Strong Excel skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and communicate financial data and tell the 'story behind the numbers.' Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future. Working Conditions The position is a hybrid schedule based out of Lisle and must live within commuting distance to office. We are located at 2300 Cabot Drive, Lisle, IL.
