We are seeking a Structural Engineer IV to join our team near the Washington, DC Navy Yard. Upon award, the ideal candidate will: Perform engineering analyses of customer mission and performance requirements to define UxV attributes in engineering terms. Perform engineering studies leading to the allocation of UxV attributes to UxV systems in terms of design direction, performance, configuration, space and weight, and arrangement. Perform design and engineering studies to identify the degree of UxV systems integration required to meet the mission requirements. Provide Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) of designs in the form of technical products such as drawings, conceptual and product engineering designs, calculations, schematics, reports, etc. Ensure structures can withstand the stresses and pressures imposed by use and the environment.
