Need previous Healthcare or Enterprise enviroment experience


Desktop configuration work in a corporate environment including:

•           Desktop deployment

•           Application support

•           Desktop application and Operating System support

•           Cable Management


Desired experience:

•           5-6 years Desktop IT experience

•         Experience in a Health/Medical/Hospital environment.

•           Experience with Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Windows 7

•           Installation of computer peripheral interfaces and/or mobile computer devices

•           Configuration of wireless/mobile computer technology

•           Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers, and administrative systems.

•           Answers technical questions from all end users, escalating if required.

•           Remedy experience

•           Testing of desktop hardware and applications

•           Desktop provisioning

•           Assembly of medical carts

•           Familiarity with desktop and scanners

Position Requirements


  • Able to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Must be able to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Operates well in a fast paced/high stress environment.
  • Functional knowledge using and troubleshooting Windows XP/7 Operating System, Microsoft Office 2007/2010, Internet, printer, core applications and networks.
  • Solid hardware and software trouble-shooting/resolution skills.
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to navigate and troubleshoot desktop issues in a locked down environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Organized and detailed communication with excellent people skills.
  • Experience with client escalation and problem management.
  • Scripting Experience.
  • Microsoft Desktop Support Certifications.
  • 2-4 years Desktop Support Experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Candidates should have a large scale enterprise support experience.
