As part of the institution's strategic plan, a 200-bed residential hall has been built, enabling students to live and pursue their chosen field of study on campus.   Description Position Purpose To support Vaughn’s AT-CTI program by offering simulator instruction and assisting certified Instructors in the ATC tower simulator Lab. Major Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Completing and storing each student’s training records. Working with academic staff of Aviation dept. to assure that proper coursework is entered correctly. Working with instructors to program scenarios as required Training new staff on use of simulators Assist ATC Simulator Instructors as required. **Qualifications:? Education and/or Experience Requirements Graduate of the Vaughn College’s AT-CTI Program along with a bachelor’s degree. Professional Skills Ability to assist students in the ATC Lab. Completed ATC200L and ATC240L with a grade of “B” or better. Reasoning Ability Ability to work with instructors, students, FAA and college administration to meet the standard requirements of FAA AT-CTI. Work environment and physical functions This position is located in an laboratory environment. Generally, an employee needs to be able to sit, stand, and navigate within the office area. The Lab equipment either individually used or shared with a department is the responsibility of all employees.
