Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Acquisition Logistics Support SME  Req Number CON-25-00002   Requisition Category Active   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location Dayton, OH   Description Position Location: Wright Patterson AFB, Dayton OH (on-site) About the Role: The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Special Programs Office (AFLCMC/WAG) develops tests, and rapidly fields classified Air Force aeronautical capabilities. Executing a significant budget, AFLCMC/WAG conducts studies to identify new capabilities; transitions laboratory technologies to operational platforms; executes demonstrations; and develops, tests, and rapidly fields new capabilities for the warfighter. The primary task is to support the acquisition of aircraft systems and subsystems.   Experience Requirements: 20 years of relevant experience- 3 of the last 5 years must be in an SAP environment Apply logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy. Perform as key participants in developing long-term weapon system supportability approaches that further the government's acquisition strategy goals and objectives. Provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Lifecycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Order (TO)s, technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets government logistics support requirements. Work on logistics and maintainability programs, and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistic requirements and resources, development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans, systems acquisition requirements analysis and control, Automated Information System (AIS) hardware and software standardization and compatibility, product support/Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Cost (RAM-C) program test and evaluation planning and execution, and product support/RAM-C analysis and assessments in supportability planning. Participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings. Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition or financial data and information. Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts Support the program office during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases. Assist with technical analyses, planning, and execution and assist the government in the review of technical specifications and documentation in support of Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) efforts to facilitate and update sustainment issues identified as related to the Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP) and Integrated Support Plan (ISP). Develop, modify, prepare and/or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems. Analyze, as required, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Property (GFP), support equipment, life support, and demilitarization requirements. Analyze and compare government and prime contractor GFE/GFP plans and schedules with program status to recommend those actions required to: comply with plans, identify changes to plans, and recommend corrective actions to resolve problem areas. Apply knowledge of GFP/GFE purchasing to determine cost, develop budgets, process purchasing documentation, and resolve issues to ensure adequate asset availability. Accomplish Technical Data Management (TDM) and analyses; write reports, recommend actions, or perform any related tasks that provide logisticians the capabilities to acquire, store, and manage in a timely, efficient, cost-affordable manner the recorded information needed to translate system and equipment design requirements into discrete engineering and logistics considerations, and manage a Task Order (TO)/technical data library. Prepare an engineering data management plan, TO verification plans, and TO management plans. Assist in identifying engineering data requirements and data right claims. Review, track, and monitor verification and delivery of engineering and technical data; identify requirements for applicable technical manuals. Identify, review, and analyze deficiencies and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) IA W the applicable contracts. Review and analyze Deficiency Reports (DRs) and assist in conducting root cause analyses of the supply chain to identify any problems and areas for improvement. Assist with the resolution of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Materiel Shortages (DMSMS) issues. Assist the program office by preparing and coordinating program management agreements, service level agreements, memoranda of agreement, memoranda of understanding, statements of objectives, statements of work, electronic staff summary sheets, and other program documents or directives as assigned. Accomplish source of repair assignment process changes as directed by core activation requirements. Set up, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, Video Teleconferences (VTCs ), and conferences as assigned. Interpret department and center digital transformation and digital materiel management strategies and formulates implementation plans for WAG programs. Evaluate and implement principles of digital transformation and digital materiel management throughout the enterprise. Perform other duties, as assigned. Education Requirements: MS/MA or higher in business administration, management, or logistics, or an MBA. In lieu of an MS/MA or higher or an MBA, a BS/BA degree and twenty-five (25) years of relevant experience with the DoD, other government agency, or DoD contractor. Other Required Skills & Abilities: Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Security Clearance Requirements: Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, current with in 5 years, based upon a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)/Tier 5 or SSBI Periodic Review (SBPR)/Tier 5R and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SAP access.
