LMSW social worker needed for a temp to perm therapist role, full-time or part-time (2 or 3 full days/week on weekdays, 8am-4pm) at a mental health clinic satellite office in Queens.
The therapist will provide outpatient mental health treatment at an Article 31 mental health clinic for older adults in South Jamaica, Queens and actively participate in the recruitment of clients. The social worker will work very closely with a larger treatment team consisting of a Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Peer Advocates and a Registered Nurse. The social worker will receive clinical supervision, enabling work towards clinical hours, and participate in case conference meetings.
This is an agency with robust growth opportunities. Many staff obtain their clinical hours and LCSW while working at the agency, and then move on to obtain supervisory roles within the agency.
When the position is temporary, the hourly pay rate would be determined based on assessment and various factors. When permanent, the annual salary would be $60,000-$65,000 (if part-time, the salary will be prorated hourly based on the full-time salary).
