One full-time position as well as one part-time position available. The part-time position is 2 or 3 full days/week on weekdays, 8am-4pm. The full-time position is all 5 weekdays, 8am-4pm.
The therapist will provide outpatient mental health treatment at a satellite office of an Article 31 mental health clinic for older adults. The social workers will work in South Jamaica, Queens and actively participate in the recruitment of clients. The social worker will work very closely with a larger treatment team consisting of a Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Peer Advocates and a Registered Nurse. The social worker will receive clinical supervision, enabling work towards clinical hours, and participate in case conference meetings.
This is an agency with robust growth opportunities. Many staff obtain their clinical hours and LCSW while working at the agency, and then move on to obtain supervisory roles within the agency.
When the position is temporary, the hourly pay rate would be determined based on assessment and various factors. When permanent, the annual salary would be $60,000-$65,000 (if part-time, the salary will be prorated hourly based on the full-time salary).
