Case Manager needed for full-time, temporary position in South Jersey.
The Case Manager plays a vital role in supporting both the youth in therapeutic foster care and their treatment parents. This position involves weekly visits with each youth, either in the foster home or at the office, and active participation in Individual Service meetings. The Case Manager collaborates closely with all members of the treatment team and provides ongoing support and on-the-job training for treatment parents, focusing on behavior management strategies throughout all phases of placement.
Additional responsibilities include crisis intervention, ensuring treatment homes comply with licensure standards, maintaining strong relationships with funding sources, and representing the program within the community.
Candidates should be positive role models with the ability to build meaningful connections with youth, caregivers, funding sources, and team members. Strong time management, flexibility, initiative, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the behavioral health system for emotionally challenged children.
