Step into the world of The Continental as the John Wick Experience Lead at AREA15 a destination where immersive storytelling, fashion, and fandom converge. Inspired by the sleek mystique of the John Wick franchise, this role is more than retail it's performance, leadership, and guest immersion in equal measure. As a working lead, you’ll guide team members, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and elevate the guest experience while supporting sales, training, and visual standards. Your leadership will shape how guests experience the John Wick universe, from their first step inside to their final purchase. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Serve as an on-floor leader and brand ambassador, delivering immersive, cinematic service aligned with The Continental experience. Lead by example in engaging guests with storytelling and deep product knowledge, encouraging upselling and enhancing the retail journey. Demonstrate and train associates in the ART! of Sales to ensure consistency in guest service and revenue goals. Respond to guest concerns or escalations with professionalism and discretion. Mentor and guide Retail Sales Associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and AREA15 service standards. Help onboard and train new team members, reinforcing AREA15's immersive brand values and expectations. Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and accountability on the retail floor. Assist in daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, POS management, and inventory control. Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the retail space reflects the mood, style, and storytelling of the John Wick franchise. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with management on restocking needs or special merchandise requests. Help ensure compliance with retail transactions, loss prevention, and operational procedures. Act as a liaison between team members and Retail Management, providing updates, feedback, and guest insights. Communicate with management regarding team performance, guest trends, or any operational issues. Stay informed on AREA15 events, attractions, and F&B offerings to cross-promote and integrate experiences into retail conversations. Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest and coworker interaction. Adhere to retail department and company policies and procedures. Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards. Work and be available for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong organizational, communication and time-management skills. Experience in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. Familiarity with sales principles and ability to coach upselling and cross-selling. Proficiency in POS systems and retail operations; inventory experience a plus. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic about themed experiences, immersive storytelling, and pop culture. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs unassisted and use a box cutter safely, Physical ability to stand, walk, bend and lift during a shift. Ability to commute between office and AREA15 district. Must maintain a polished appearance that aligns with the John Wick brand aesthetic and AREA15 standards. Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language. Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
