Description

This full-time, permanent position located in St. Louis County provides daily administrative and clerical operations of a food pantry. This role is responsible for greeting visitors, managing calls and mail, maintaining inventory and supply records, and entering client data into the foodbank database. This role is M-F from 8:30-5:15.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors, answer phones, and route inquiries

  • Enter and update client information in the web-based foodbank system

  • Manage inventory and office supplies; track with spreadsheets

  • Maintain clean, organized pantry and reception areas

  • Prepare correspondence, forms, and reports

  • Assist with registration and provide general office support

  • Communicate repair needs and support basic office equipment troubleshooting

  • Support special projects and provide updates to the Food Pantry Manager

 
Position Requirements
  • BSW

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/office setting
