The Director of Social Services leads and manages the Social Services departments responsible for coordinating services for long-term care and short stays. This position ensures services are provided and met for 296 residents and patients in the Skilled Nursing Facility in the areas of Long-Term Care, Dementia Care, and Short Stay units. The Director participates in administrative leadership for the facility, including on-call responsibilities, develops and collaborates with colleagues on ways to support residents' homes, and serves as the Grievance Official for the campus.   Position Requirements BSW with a minimum of six years’ experience in a long-term care setting, one year in a short stay/rehab setting, and one year supervisory/management experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of community resources. Proven knowledge of federal and state regulations.
