We are hiring an Advanced Tactical Datalinks (ATDLS) Analyst to work in the Pentagon. The position requires the applicant to have an active TS clearance and be SCI eligible. The ideal candidate will:

  • Review policy and strategy related to electronic warfare (EW), cyber operations, tactical data links (TDL), and space.
  • Validate personnel and training requirements and ensure they are properly programmed.
  • Provide strategic and operational-level liaison support across all Navy organizations and echelons, other Services, Allies, DoD agencies, and non-DoD entities such as the U.S. Coast Guard under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
  • Prepare and support the delivery of clear and effective PowerPoint presentations, briefs, information papers, and risk and impact mitigation documents.
  • Participate in meetings to support government personnel in identifying, assessing, prioritizing, validating, adjudicating, and programming Navy and Joint capabilities and requirements.
  • Additional Duties Include:
  • Support Navy, Joint, DoD, and interagency meetings and working groups focused on ATDLS capabilities, including program reviews, planning sessions, milestone decisions, IPTs, Special Advisory Boards, and off-sites. Prepare meeting summaries and documentation.
  • Assist requirements officers with developing, reviewing, editing, and routing correspondence, documents, strategies, concept papers, and briefs related to ATDLS capabilities.
  • Prepare plans, directives, and administrative documents for the management of ATDLS programs, and support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) as needed.
  • Review and analyze ATDLS documents within the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process, and provide recommendations to ensure alignment with DoD, Joint, and Navy C4I requirements.
  • Coordinate across the Navy, other Services, and Joint Staff via the Navy tasker system to respond to ATDLS-related queries and tasks. Prepare concise responses in the form of briefs, point papers, emails, and memos.
  • Support the development and routing of ATDLS acquisition documentation, including Navy Gate Review products and CJCSI/CJCSM updates.
  • Draft, review, and coordinate ATDLS documentation, complete comment resolution matrices, and ensure compliance with required checklists.
  • Support our role as Resource Sponsor throughout the DoD acquisition and lifecycle management process. Prepare program status briefings, budget analyses, and documentation in support of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development, reviews, and drills.
  • Analyze modeling and simulation plans or studies and provide summaries, recommendations, and briefings to support N2N6 planning, war gaming, experimentation, and exercises.
  • Use systems such as the Program Budget Information System (PBIS) and the Intranet Resource Allocation Planning System (iRAPs) to respond to inquiries regarding budget line status, ownership, and project history.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer or a Senior Enlisted member At least 1 year of experience in one or more areas of the above listed roles and responsibilities
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen
  • Clearance: Must have an Active TS clearance and be SCI eligible
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated effective team player and analytical skills

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
  • General PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office expert-level knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, working knowledge of SharePoint, or Access (or similar database management system)
  • Familiarity with PPBE / POM (at least one cycle)
  • Familiarity with DoD Acquisition Process
  • Familiarity with PBIS& iRAPs
  • Familiarity with ETMS2 tasker system

Travel: 10% (potential)
