Job Summary


This position manages office personnel and performs a variety of office and accounting activities by performing the following duties:


Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, preparation of payrolls, personnel, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
  • Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
  • Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
  • Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
  • Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Plans office layout, develops office budget, and initiates cost reduction programs.
  • Prepares activities reports for guidance of management. Gathers competitive pricing information and makes recommendations to management to create timely economic decisions which enhance profit.  Routinely verifies customer pricing formats for accuracy.
  • Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors.
  • Directly supervises three clerical/accounting personnel.  Supervisory responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing job responsibilities, appraising work performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
