Description

Position Purpose

The Executive Director of Grant Management supports the awards and subawards received by Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology from Federal, State, and Private agencies. This role involves overseeing proposal development, award negotiation, sponsor relations, project support, and grant management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Proposal Development and Submission
  • Review new opportunities and assist in idea development.
  • Manage consultants and assist in proposal narrative and budget development.
  • Ensure compliance and assemble application packages for submission.
  1. Award Negotiation and Acceptance

  • Review terms and conditions of contracts and agreements.
  • Obtain necessary signatures and submit final materials.
  1. Sponsor Relations

  • Maintain Federal and State websites for award/project management.
  • Monitor compliance requirements and manage sponsor communications.
  1. Reporting to Sponsor

  • Support development and submission of interim, annual, and other required reports.

  1. Project Support

  • Track project documentation and manage consultant contracts.
  • Develop policies and maintain Grant Administration SharePoint libraries.
  • Provide project management training and support project-specific activities.
  • Grant Management:
  • Advise on terms, conditions, and allowable activities.
  • Create and maintain records in SharePoint libraries.
  • Monitor budgets and support financial reconciliation.
  1. Grants Office Business

  • Maintain spreadsheets of awards and project staff.
  • Manage GO budget and staff, including employee assessments.
  • Submit department assessment plans and reports.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a discipline applicable to high education and grant management
  • Experience in grant management and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Compensation

The entry level compensation for this position is expected to range from $88,000 - $93,000
