United Church Funds (UCF), a not-for-profit corporation and associated ministry of the United Church of Christ (UCC), provides responsible, values-aligned investment management services to churches, ministries and other faith-based organizations. UCF offers customized investment portfolios and prudent investment strategies that provide competitive returns while also reflecting its clients’ values in seeking to achieve a just world. UCF also offers endowment governance consulting and planned giving services.

 

Position Summary

The Client Services Associate is responsible for maintaining a high level of quality service to UCF clients by providing courteous, timely and accurate responses to requests for account information, transactions and other needs.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Respond, along with Client Services Team members, to all client calls and emails, and either provide requested information or direct inquiries to the appropriate person.
  2. Coordinate the administration of accounts, including:
    1. Processing distributions to, deposits into and withdrawals from client accounts
    2. Preparing daily transaction reports
    3. Maintaining allocation models
    4. Assisting in preparation and review of month-end and quarter-end payments.
  3. Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and account activity.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance & Administration and Institutional Relationships, to support client needs and goals.
  5. Other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  2. Five to ten years outstanding experience in customer or client services
  3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  4. High ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple projects and priorities
  5. Familiarity with or ability to understand and work with the structure and polity of the United Church of Christ and the role of United Church Funds within the denomination
  6. Highly self-motivated and able to function in a hybrid work environment with regular use of communication technology
  7. Experience with software applications and platforms, such as Innovest (Innotrust and Innovue), SalesForce and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), is highly preferred.

This position is based in New York and requires work in the office 5 days a week.
